Our 10 leaping ladies all took the plunge and abseiled from Kangaroo Point Cliffs on Friday the 10th of March. The ladies took on the challenge as part of Queensland Women’s Week all in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Queensland Women with or at risk of Perinatal Depression.
The morning kicked off with a networking breakfast held at the site for the spectacular Banyan Tree Brisbane Residences. With thanks to our MC Ben Davis and guest speakers including the the very humble Brisbane Lions AFL ladies, Emma and Kate the morning was great fun.
It was a privilege to hear from the Social Work team at the RBWH, with whom we work to deliver the White Cloud Mums program. The team shared a case study with us and highlighted the impact our practical support program is having on vulnerable women.
Together the 10 leaping ladies raised $12,000 for support services that will help 100 Queensland Women.
