Founder and Chairman
Professor Adam Scott

Prof Adam Scott founded White Cloud Foundation in 2011 after seeing a need to improve access to mental health care in Australia.  To establish the Foundation, Adam took a year off from his role as the Director of Cardiac Sciences at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.  

Adam has a PhD in Cardiac Medicine and is a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, the European Society of Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology, and Exercise and Sports Science Australia.

Adam is one of the Founding Fathers of modern tele-health in Australia and found the inspiration to create White Cloud from many experiences across both his professional and personal life.  He has paddled over 1,000km since 2011, raising funds and awareness for WCF.
Directors
Chris Staples

Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Business and is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience finance, accounting, taxation and business consulting, in both the corporate sector and public practice.  Chris has extensive overseas experience living and working in both London and Singapore.  Chris is a partner in accounting and advisory firm Davis & Co.  He is also a Chairman of the Medical Centre Management Group, and holds directorships in a variety of other entities.

Katherine Hornbuckle
Katherine is a strategic communications professional with experience in health, government, and the corporate sector. She is currently the Director of Communication and Integration at Ambulance Victoria and was previously at National Australia Bank where she was an Associate Director in their Corporate Communications team. Prior to her relocation to Melbourne, Katherine worked as the Communications Manager for Australia’s largest public health service, Metro North Hospital and Health Service, managing media and communications for five hospitals and more than a dozen diverse community health facilities stretching from central Brisbane to Kilcoy. Katherine brings with her extensive experience in the fast-paced environments of news radio and state government including participating in the G20 Leaders Summit, the 2014 Royal Visit and Community Cabinets around Queensland.
Paul Bini

Paul is a specialist in strategy, communications and public affairs and is the Brisbane partner for leading national public affairs and communications firm, GRACosway. He has extensive policy, political and project experience across Queensland, Victorian and Australian Governments.  Previous roles have been as Chief of Staff to Ministers across a wide range of portfolios, and also in the public service.

Paul supports the White Cloud Foundation board to build government understanding and support for programs bringing real mental health solutions to the Australian community. He holds undergraduate degrees in Law and Economics and holds an MBA.

Nicola Molloy

Nicola is an experienced Legal Counsel with a demonstrated history of working in the transportation/ trucking/ railroad industry. She is a strong legal professional, skilled in corporate and commercial law, regulatory matters, electricity issues, re-organisations and re-structuring, general legal advice,energy, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital and due diligence. Nicola is currently the Associate General Counsel for Aurizon Network.

Dr Angela White, BA(Hons), MCP, PhD MAPS (Clin)

Dr Angela White is a Clinical Psychologist with over 30-years experience in mental health practice and research across public, private and academic sectors. Angela is the Director of Psychology at the Royal Brisbane and Woman’s Hospital where she oversees the development, implementation, and delivery of evidence-based quality services within a multidisciplinary framework. Her focus is on ensuring patients and their families have access to and are provided with tailored and responsive health focused psychology support services . Angela is an Adjunct Associate Professor with the UQ School of Psychology and Industry Fellow with QUT, where she has been involved in a range of applied and translational research programs. She is also a member of the RBWH Health Research and Ethics Committee (HREC) with a focus on ensuring clinical research contributes to clinical best practice, including the development and delivery of digital health technology and services.

Nick Crang

Nick studied Business, Property Economics & Development at The University of Sunshine Coast has worked in private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Nick has had a diverse career which has enabled him to develop a broad strategic skillset. His career started internationally in the Oil & Gas industry before applying his knowledge to Futures and Foreign Currency trading. For the last 10 years, Nick has been heavily focused on the property sector in residential, commercial and industrial development. He has been an active committee participant with industry bodies such as UDIA and USC Student Liaison Committee. He has also been the President of Next Generation Property. Nick is currently the Head of Development for publicly listed A-REIT National Storage.
